Same-day Morning + Deployment Accepting colleagues (helps as a relief valve)

These colleagues are OK pulling Morning AND Deployment on the same day — the engine lets them absorb the heavy day instead of spreading it.

Add Record Type Dates

One entry at a time. Format sep1,5,20-23 (month abbr) or Name: sep1,5.
Holiday with no name marks those dates as holidays; with a name it also marks that colleague off work that day.
Unavailable marks a colleague off work (whole day) on those dates — e.g. Andy: sep1,5 — and shows in the Unavailable column.
Manual shifts require a name and lock that person in for those dates. Morning runs weekdays, Deployment runs weekdays only, and Weekend Support covers Sat/Sun/public holidays — each is kept balanced across everyone. Manual locks are honored even on non-typical days. Use ranges 7-20 or lists 2,5,11.

Bulk Import Paste several records at once (one per line)

Each non-empty line is one record in the same Name: sep1,5,20-23 format as Add Record. This is the fastest way to load a whole month of unavailability (e.g. from a fixed schedule CSV's "Not available" column). Rows already present are deduped; the rest are appended.

Edit any figure to set a target — the difference is redistributed across the other unlocked cells so each column's total stays fixed. Lock a cell 🔒 to freeze it and steer the next solve toward it. Use the Total column for a grand-total target.

Balance · n = delivered − fair share for that colleague (＋ = did more than fair). Carried (in) = fairgap inherited from the previous committed month, which softly steers this month.

Targets steer the schedule but never leave a required shift blank and never override fairness/coverage.

Submit commits the current month, computes its end-of-month balance, and creates the next month tab (its schedule auto-steers toward the carried balance). Reset clears all stored months.
